Time Frame In Trading

One of the reasons new forex traders don’t do really well in trading,  as they should is for the reason that they are typically trading the wrong time frame for their character.

Newbies will want to get rich really quick so they will start trading small time frames like the 1-minute or 5-minute charts. Then they finish up feeling frustrated when they trade for the reason that the time frame does not fit their personality.

For other forex traders, they feel really comfortable trading the 1-hour charts. This time frame is longer, however, not too long, and trade signals are fewer, but not really few. Trading on this time frame provide more time to examine the market and not feel so rushed.

Then again, there are others who could never trade in a 1-hour time frame. It might feel really too slow for others, they prefer trading a 10-minute chart.

This gives them enough time, but not too much time to make a decision based on his trading plan.

Other can’t figure out how forex traders trade on a 1-hour chart for the reason that they thinks it’s too quick! Others  trades only daily, weekly, and monthly charts.

So you might be thinking  what the right time frame is for you to trade?

The answer is, it depends with your personality. You have to feel comfortable with the time frame you’re trading in.

You will always feel some kind of pressure or have a sense of frustration when you are in a trade for the reason that real money is involved. That’s pretty normal.

However,  you shouldn’t feel that the reason for the pressure is because things are happening so fast that you find it hard to make decisions or so slowly that you get unsatisfied.

Normal for newbies that when they first start trading, they could not stick to a time frame.

They started with the 15-minute chart. Then the 5-minute chart.

Then they tried the 1-hour chart, the daily chart, and the 4-hour chart.

This is pretty normal for all new forex traders until you find your comfort zone and why we recommend that you try demo trade first using different time frames to see which fits your personality the best.
